CARE

CARE is an International social organization which is working in INDIA along with other national organizations to make high quality health & social service . CARE has been working in Chhattisgarh since 1998 . CARE started its Nutrition programme and GRIHINI has worked in collaboration with CARE in all its programmes. The main aim of this is to reduce infant and mother death rate & Mal Nutrition. It also aims at making needy families self dependent in the field of health and nutrition. GRIHINI conducts health programmers in 15 blocks in Raipur. GRIHINI also makes efforts to create awareness about HIV/AIDS. GRIHINI has been working with CARE to provide better health opportunities. To fulfil the objectives, the following programmers are organized as (1) Sector Mela (2) Block & Sector meeting (3) Home visit (4) village health & Nutrition day (5) co-ordination in organizing National & Government programmers (Women’s day, World AIDS day, World Child Day, World Health day etc.) Conference & Training ,quiz competition, Nukkad Natak, Magic & Puppet shows etc. The result of these activities is that there is fall in malnutrition and Mothers child death rate.
